The Queen Creek High School football team has been named America's Team.  The team is undefeated as they head into their final regular season game on October 26, 2012, but that is not why they have been named America's Team.

The team and its coaching staff have received the designation as America's Team because of the team's heart.  The Queen Creek High School Football Team is composed of players and coaches who make us proud to be fellow Americans.

Bullying is one of the stories in our movie, and Chy Johnson of Queen Creek high School is one of the stars of the movie.  And the football team instantly became stars of the movie as well.

Queen Creek High School sophomore, Chy Johnson, 16, is a special needs student who suffers from a brain disorder, Microcephaly.

She was bullied by girls at the school.

Carson Jones, star quarterback of the Queen Creek High School Bulldogs decided to try to do something about it.

Carson Jones, Tucker Workman, and Colton Moore came to her rescue.  They had her sit with the team at lunch in the school cafeteria.  In addition, members of the team ensured that that there was always someone around Chy throughout the day.

Chy Johnson and her parents, Liz and Doug Johnson, recently told her story for LAWLESS AMERICA...The Movie.  She explained what it was like to be bullied.

"The funny thing is we were there to talk about the special education system and Chy started crying so I was telling Bill (Windsor) about her being bullied at the beginning of the year and how the football players started watching out for her," her mom recalled.

The team was nominated by Bill Windsor and Lawless America as "America's Team."

I am very proud to report that Chy Johnson has accepted my invitation to be my date for the Academy Awards when our movie is nominated for Best Documentary.

Now all we have to do is win the nomination.  But with Chy and the undefeated Bulldogs on our team, it should be simple.
