Henry Lee Holloway pled guilty to conspiracy and to making a false statement on his federal income tax return when he failed to disclose his receipt of the illicit bribe payments from Gi-Hwan Jeong. Gi-Hwan Jeong a South Korean businessman was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment and a $50,000 fine for honest services wire fraud and bribery. He was part of a bribery conspiracy involving a $206-million telecommunications contract that included employees of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). Jeong provided approximately $150,000 in cash, entertainment, and other things of value to Henry Lee Holloway and another AAFES official, in in exchange for their aid in securing and maintaining this telecommunications contract for his company, Samsung Rental Ltd.
