Claims to fame: Serial rapist; killer; necrophiliac; Republican
Moral apex: The handsome, suave — and sociopathic — Bundy raped, murdered, and abused the corpses of 30 or more women and girls (at least, that’s how many he confessed to) over a four-year period in the 1970s.
Why he’s here: Ted Bundy was a Republican. He worked on the campaign to re-elect Governor Dan Evans.
Punch line: After his re-election, Evans appointed Bundy to the Seattle Crime Prevention Advisory Committee.
Moving up the ranks: In 1973, Bundy became assistant to Ross Davis, chairman of the Washington State Republican Party.
And then: Right about that time (beginning in January, 1974) he started raping and killing.
Then: After being caught in 1977 (on a routine traffic stop), Bundy escaped custody — twice — and drove to Florida, where he bludgeoned two college co-eds to death (and critically injured a few others) while they slept in their sorority house, and then found and slaughtered his final victim: a 12-year-old girl.
Where he is now: In Hell, probably. Bundy was executed on January 24, 1989, in Old Sparky (Florida’s electric chair).
Professional courtesy? While awaiting execution (he was on Death Row for ten years), Bundy contacted Washington State police to offer his help in tracking down the Green" target="_blank">">Green River Killer Gary Ridgway, who had slaughtered more than 50 people, and had eluded unimpeachable identification by authorities for nearly 20 years. None of Bundy’s insights into his own diseased mind resulted in anything really solid for the cops to go on, and detective Robert D. Keppel thought later that Ted was just jealous of the more prolific GRK. Or, perhaps, desperate for a Get Out of Death Row Free card. (Ridgway, by the way, was eventually caught in 2001.)
Conservative Christian to the end: A few years before his execution, Ted found Jesus — or, more accurately, Moroni: He converted to Mormonism.
Conservative Christian to the very end: The night before his execution, Bundy granted a TV interview to rabid moralist" target="_blank">James Dobson of Focus on the Family, in which he blamed pornography (”It snatched me out of my home 20 or 30 years ago”) for turning him into a rapist and murderer.

Judicial Corruption is rampant.  Our rights to a fair trial are a myth.  Many judges are totally corrupt.

Our fundamental rights have been taken away by a government of wrongs. Stolen by corruption.

Misconduct is everywhere. Dishonesty abounds. Perjury, subornation of perjury, corruption!

Abuse, Dishonesty, Corruption.  It's all common with Police and Law Enforcement.

Government Dishonesty is Bad.
We must find honest people
and make them accountable
to We the People.
